HAPPY 2012!!!!
I hope you all had a memorable Holiday Season with your loved ones too, full of chaos & joy! I'm trying to get back into a routine and live up to my New Years resolution of being more organized......which has started with my house and hopefully ending up here {taking better care of my blog}

Some Thankfulness
I noticed the leaves falling this weekend.....which makes me sad.
I love the colors of fall and they seem to be going quickly, as with
everything in life things change and often to quickly especially the
most precious THINGS. I want to put a little more effort into
Thanksgiving this year in hopes of making the most of the season.
Here are some of my favorites.
I hope you find yourself "in the moment" and enjoying the precious THINGS of life this season.

Greatest Pecan Squares Ever!!
O.K. so maybe I should through in a quick disclaimer for this title....at least the greatest myself and my lucky recipients have tasted....GUARANTEED !!
A good friend of mine called asking for this recipe and it got me thinking, why not pass this on and let others enjoy the praise. So in the spirit of THANKSGIVING I'm giving it to you.
So Give and Enjoy !
Greatest Pecan Squares Ever
CRUST:
3/4 C butter
1/2 C powder sugar
1 1/2 C flour
Heat your oven to 350* Beat the butter and powder sugar until well blended, add flour and mix well.
Place in a 9 x 13 and pat firmly, pressing and covering the bottom of your pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes - Until golden brown
FILLING:
3 eggs
2 C chopped pecans
1 C sugar
1 C light corn syrup
2 tbs butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla
Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add the rest of your ingredients and mix well.
Pour over your crust and bake at 350* for 35 to 45 minutes or until set.
Let cool completely then cut into squares or bars and ENJOY!
